Who is eligible to enter?

 

Anyone aged 18 or under who lives, studies or works in Tendring or surrounding areas.

 

What classes are there?

 

There are several ensemble, solo instrumental and vocal classes. More details can be found in the entry form

 

What genre of music is appropriate for the competition?

 

Broadly classical but please contact Roger Griffiths (01255 870486) or David Shearmur (01206 395263) if you wish to discuss the choice of music, or contact us via the website.

 

Whose permission do I need to apply?

 

Just your parent or guardian if you are under 18 years of age.

 

Is there a cost?

 

Just £2 for a solo entry and £3 for an ensemble, that goes towards the cost of staging the event.

 

Can my family attend?

 

Yes, they are welcome, free of charge, subject to available space in the audience.
